GARDEN TABLES

A neighbour cut down a large olive tree in her garden and offered us some of the logs. They had potential.

The process of turning raw olive wood into usable outdoor tables is more involved than it looks: stripping the bark, allowing the wood to dry properly, working the surface, applying stain, and finishing with a weatherproof seal. Each log has its own shape, its own grain, its own character — which means each table is genuinely one of a kind.

The results sit outside year-round. They have held up well and look better for having some weathering on them. There is something satisfying about furniture with a story attached to it.
